Season to Be Thankful - Thursday, November 20
Now’s the time to spread goodwill. As days get shorter, the pace is quicker and daily responsibilities can overshadow gratitude for the little things. Though November may revolve around Thanksgiving, regularly practicing “small t thanksgiving” can pay off in health and happiness for all involved. Make a grateful heart a habit:
Give a personal thank-you. Skip the email or text and deliver a face-to-face message to your amazing coworker. Or put pen to paper and let your friend know how much you enjoyed the party.
Go on a complaining fast. No bemoaning or lamenting for 24 hours. Feel the gratification of leaping forward to positive solutions rather than falling back to gripes.
Tidy up. You can improve a shared area by keeping it clean and ready for the next person.
Is gratitude on your to-do list?
