Don’t want to be cooped up in the gym when there’s fresh air beckoning? Vary your routine with these outdoor workouts that combine sweet summer air and fitness with a fun, new twist:

  • Paddleboarding. Popularized in 1940s Waikiki, stand-up paddleboarding can strengthen your whole body and stabilize your core. Not as easy as it looks, this amazing aquatic workout has been compared to hiking on water.
