If a healthier future has been on your mind, why not just do it? Give yourself the motivation and tools to get fit and eat right.
Eat more vegetables. Try a co-op program. You can order locally grown seasonal produce from home and pick it up weekly. Most have volunteers to answer questions and online recipe ideas using crops from that week’s delivery.
Drink more water. Start with a full water bottle in the morning Then, fill it up at least twice by day’s end. Save cash with water-only rule when you eat out — sodas and alcohol offer little nutrition, but they do add to the tab.
Exercise. Is there a staircase, ramp, or hill nearby? Pick 10 minutes today to walk briskly. Need a stretch? Stand behind a chair and do 25 squats — hold your arms over your head for an added challenge. The point is, once you activate your body, you’ll crave more… and be more likely to carve out pockets for physical activity.
