Life is busy… but with a little effort, you can spend more quality social time with friends and family. Here are a few ideas:

  • Set up monthly family dinners or brunches. No relatives in town? Start a regular potluck gathering with a small group of friends so you can count on each other’s company as part of your schedule.

  • Like to read or watch movies? Organize a book or film club. Read or watch on your own, then gather over healthy snacks to discuss.

  • Don’t forget those fitness goals. Working out with buddies is fun, holds you accountable, and can even boost your performance. Get together for lunch walks, plan a weekend tennis game, or meet at the gym (many fitness clubs offer guest passes so you can bring a buddy).

For anything important, you must make the time, so schedule active dates with those you care about most.
