  • Ditch the cookie jar and replace it with a bowl of fresh fruit on the counter. It looks appetizing and is good for you.

  • Keep your exercise gear clean and ready to go. Set out your workout clothes, shoes, and equipment the night before.

  • Be organized. Have a calendar in sight with days and times blocked out for physical activity.

  • Keep your treadmill or step machine near a window, if possible, and with plenty of light; use it only for exercise. If space allows, have an area dedicated to fitness equipment.
