Walk and talk. Perk up by changing a regular meeting or brainstorming session into a walking meeting. You’ll feel invigorated and have a sharper focus to handle tasks.
Take an active break. Instead of dawdling in the break room or idly chatting, go for a walk. Head to the farthest end of the floor and back, get outside and trek around the building, take roundtrips to and from the water fountain, or hoof a few flights of stairs.
Hit the road at lunchtime. If you have minutes to spare during your break, use them. Find nearby parks or walking paths, and encourage coworkers to come along.
