Try these strategies for having some solo time:
Rise and shine. Get up 1/2 hour earlier than usual and go for a walk. You can start the day with a clear mind and enjoy some solitude. Or take a walk during a work break.
Make an appointment. Just as you need to schedule a visit to the dentist or mechanic, you also need to dedicate time for maintenance of your healthy lifestyle.
Just say no thank-you. Protect your self-care time; people will fill up your schedule if you let them. Politely decline any requests that aren’t aligned with your highest priorities… including your well-being.
